Well, it was a travel.Travel called before PSU gets a shot off. GG, refs!
It was the right call. But if there ever was a time to swallow that whistle, I can’t think of a better one.Well, it was a travel.
They won’t make the second weekend.I'd be very nervous if I was a Purdue fan with the way they handle pressure. Would be shocked if that doesn't come back to bite them, quite possibly sooner than later.
Double Edey and full court pressure will knock Purdue out of the tournament.I'd be very nervous if I was a Purdue fan with the way they handle pressure. Would be shocked if that doesn't come back to bite them, quite possibly sooner than later.
Tough way to end any game, though.Well, it was a travel.
Announcer said they‘ve won six quad one games in a little over a week. They caught fire at the right time.PSU performance will be interesting when we see their seed.
Also historically we have seen teams play very well in conference tournaments and not have legs the following week ie Syracuse Virginia Tech us and O$U to name a few over the years
Weird pass leading up to the travel - took his eye off the ball maybe?Tough way to end any game, though.
Edey tipped it.Weird pass leading up to the travel - took his eye off the ball maybe?
He airballed the shot by 2 feet after traveling, which he shot before the whistle. Would that have been all that much more preferable?Tough way to end any game, though.
Looked like purdont player deflected it short b4 Funk could get it on a screen play for a 3.pointer for the winWeird pass leading up to the travel - took his eye off the ball maybe?
They beat us NW and IU on neutral court so they got 3 from the tournament aloneAnnouncer said they‘ve won six quad one games in a little over a week. They caught fire at the right time.
Their ability to handle pressure is definitelyThey won’t make the second weekend.
PU will only go as far as their guards. When they are on they can beat anyone. However they have been exposed a few times this year. Edey will get 20-30 points a game unless he gets in foul trouble which didn’t happen in the Big Ten. Will be interesting how the refs call the tournamentTheir ability to handle pressure is definitely
a thing. But for some reason, I don’t think so. I feel like Purdon’t is due to
at least get to the sweet 16 maybe further before they’re completely exposed.
I dunno why exactly. It’s just a hunch.
