#21. We will not be dropped out of the top 25 after a win but we will not climb a whole lot either after only winning by 1 when we should’ve won by a lot more.

Yeah very unlikely, not this late in the season against a major conference team. If #23 does that Week 1 against an FCS team it's a different story.

We'll probably move up, passing Utah and Oklahoma. Michigan might leapfrog us. Army should but probably won't.

#22 Illinois vs #23 Michigan??

Perhaps we each bump up one spot due to Utah’s loss, but not a lot of potential for movement upward otherwise.

To be a sourpuss, where they're ranked, and the outcome of that game, doesn't really matter in the new college football. Those are both comfortable playoff teams and are pretty likely to meet again in the B1G Championship which will decide the bye.

The tiebreaker procedures are going to be huge this year. While I do believe it will end up being OSU/Oregon rematch, there is the potential for some tiebreaker madness at the top.

5-1. Another week ranked. We won the cannon. We have a legit top 3 or 4 QB in the conference. This kind of success doesn’t come along too often for us. If you had told me this is where we’d be after 6 games over the summer I would have been ecstatic. I’m trying to focus on that instead of the giant red flag that was our second-half defensive performance against that PU team. Gotta say, I’m having mixed results thus far. But hey, #22 in the country halfway through the season. It’s a heck of a thing. I-L-L.

In which direction will the line now move? I speculate no more than 1 point in either direction. Seems pretty legit to me.

We have the QB advantage, a Kicking game edge and probably the head coaching advantage. Michigan probably ranks better at all other position groups. Michigan comes off a BYE week, too.

Win the turnover battle and win the game!!
