Maybe not so many questions now that Damonte and Curbelo are gone.

What about the new boy.. Mike Tyson. Look like a bulldog
Fan base here…..second guessing coaches…. “We're pretty mild here, really.
I have honestly never seen that GIF of Coach Underwood before and wasn't prepared for how funny it was lol (thank you for that) haha
Bo will call that move traveling.pretty good handles:
I’d like to poke some fun at Chin by saying the best thing he did for Illinois was leave…. However, we probably don’t get Ayo without Chin and we would not be where we are today without Ayo’s legacy, so I will forever be thankful for his time here.I'm late to the party (as usual) and just want to say welcome Skyy Clark to the University of Illinois!
Skyy is going to play such a huge role next season and I can't emphasize how thrilled I am that he choose Illinois.
And to all the clowns at Kentucky (coughOrlando & Chin cough) better luck next time
GO ILLINI!
Ayo IS the legacy. I imagine he is our best marketing guy since 21 century, better than Deron. I imagine the coaches play the video of his mid range iso shot beating Michigan in the 2020-2021 season again and again to guard recruits.I’d like to poke some fun at Chin by saying the best thing he did for Illinois was leave…. 2001 team was very talented and deepCan anyone think of a more talented Illini team since the Flying Illini? I can't. The 2005 team was exceptional, but I don't think the potential talent was this good from top to bottom. And, Brad, and the other coaches will develop these players to their top ability.
Been waiting for so many years for someone that can punish pressure D with aggressive driving and handles thats a threat to score n be a playmaker at all 3 levels. Fingers crossed we got that guy finally between Skyy and Epps(hopefully both).pretty good handles:
True. I guarantee you Curbelo wasn't getting more minutes based on his offensive grade out. It was defense that got him on the floor.there is a reason they played.....there's a reason these coaches get paid like they do to make those decisions. They watch the game through a different lens than the fans. Who missed more assignments, who is more tuned into the scouting report, etc.
Yeah it's been over a year (Ayo).Been waiting for so many years for someone that can punish pressure D with aggressive driving and handles thats a threat to score n be a playmaker at all 3 levels. Fingers crossed we got that guy finally between Skyy and Epps(hopefully both).
Haha fair. Ayo certainly did all those things but would go through stretches where he'd lose agressiveness. I guess I more meant having multiple options on the team that were consistent driving threats.Yeah it's been over a year (Ayo).
I’m sorry, but….. Andre who?pretty good handles:
Bolded is the key part, b/c Curbelo has those type of handles and driving ability (though his decision-making as far as when to make use of those handles often hurt him), but he could only reliably score from 1 level.Been waiting for so many years for someone that can punish pressure D with aggressive driving and handles thats a threat to score n be a playmaker at all 3 levels. At the end not sure there was any level he could reliably scoreBolded is the key part, b/c Curbelo has those type of handles and driving ability (though his decision-making as far as when to make use of those handles often hurt him), but he could only reliably score from 1 level.
He has AC's skill set with his handles and driving ability from what I can see here, but he can shoot which gives us more options in our offense. At the end not sure there was any level he could reliably score
IMO, Curbelo had the unique ability to get to the rim without using many moves. Not to say he didn't have handles or moves, but at times, he just kept on going and got to the rim.He has AC's skill set with his handles and driving ability from what I can see here, but he can shoot which gives us more options in our offense.
