Luke Altmyer named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week

His decision-making and the fineness on his passes have improved significantly from last year. He's playing at a level where we are dangerous every time we have the ball. If he can keep this up, and the line can give him time, we'll be in every game this season.

This might sound dumb, but the look in his eyes is different. He walked into that first drive on Friday and his eyes were steel and focused and confident. He could not have cared less that NE had a full house of screaming fans.
Last year he was a passer (and sometimes runner), this year he is a quarterback.

You don't want to let wins and losses overstate things too much, he did still have a fumble that could have cost us the game, but this is someone who is growing and learning at that position.
