Sums up this game well. Nicely put, my original response involved more "f" words.Barf
Oh well, 14 years of no tournament. (Cub fans are gonna love this. . .) wait till next year
Agree with sentiments here. I am still feeling good about next year, in that I feel our current players will get stronger and we will get some more size. There is simply no way some combo of Kane/Kofi/January is not much better than ADLR. I feel very comfortable with AG providing next year at least what AJ has provided. Trent and Ayo have to bring consistent aggression and play well together. Also have to imagine that Tev steps up and provides more than we've had from Kipper. You got a couple of chances to make this right, so go make it right. Hopefully the last couple of weeks can serve as a lesson and these kids can come back next year ready to play every single time out. They’ve been really short on intensity for a good bit now.
The O/D, IMHO, will not allow us to be good next year.
Three years from now, when two mor egood recruiting classes have somewhat figured out how to execute these O/D schemes, we may be good.
Agree with this, too. Not so much worried about guard play tonight specifically (especially if Trent is injured), but I am concerned with the rarity of seeing strong games on the same night from at least 2 out Trent/Ayo/Feliz. I really like all three of these guys, but it seems there could be some kind of compatibility problem in styles or decision-making between them. The area of play that really worries me about next year is our guard play. That is supposed to be our strength and we got
schooled badly tonight.
I agree. A far cry from how Dee, Deron and Luther played together. One on one talent without much play making is the issue. Indiana's team play wasAgree with this, too.
