Goode can scrap like DMW, but he doesn’t lack confidence shooting.Sorry, dub, Goode comes from the DMFW tree.

I certainly hope he can do much more than that over the remainder of his time here. He has more size and could have much more time playing next year as one of if not our best shooter. Plus I think some may be underestimating Goode's handles and ability. He has had a very small sample size, seems to be in the right place most of the time, and makes few mistakes. I think he may step in to Jake's role if he leaves plus offer a bit more physicality doing so. I expect Goode and RJ to challenge to start. Especially if those many think are in front of him on the depth chart don't shoot it better next season. That's exactly why both were inverted vs Houston.Goode can scrap like DMW, but he doesn’t lack confidence shooting.
I have said it before but Goode reminds me of Lucas.... I hope I am.right. he could be a pain in teams assesGoode can scrap like DMW, but he doesn’t lack confidence shooting.
Think Leaky Black coming back to school really helps Illinois outso can we flashback to the Terrence Shannon comment?
We still feeling particularly locky there? He's really been my #1 want since the beginning.
Goode can shoot. If he learns to endlessly run off picks without the ball ala Steve Alford or JJ Redick he could score 15 ppg. Needs the stamina to run non stop. Andy Kaufman was not athletic but could create his own shot. Luke needs to get more aggressive (like RJ).I have said it before but Goode reminds me of Lucas.... I hope I am.right. he could be a pain in teams asses
Sorry, dub, Goode comes from the DMFW tree.
Am I remembering correctly that Nick Smith never saw the floor in the championship game, even with all the fouls on Augie ? I also think Smith had nearly 100 blocks here, which I was surprised to learn.Lol. I think you’re right…almost like he had the same cold all his life; and he just couldn’t shake it.
I also thought, nearly every time Zook and Weber spoke they were in need of a lozenge.
Our insiders are afraid to admit Terrence is a goner and they know it!

Terrance is still hoping for NBA. This website had him as borderline 2nd round pick. He can with draw from draft up to June 1 just like Kofi.

If Ramey comes, I see him starting with Skyy -- they will be our starting guards. If [Ramey] is scared of freshman Jayden or Skyy then he should go to mid major.
I thought they made that pretty clear over the past few days. If he does end up here, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Our insiders are afraid to admit Terrence is a goner and they know it!
I agree, I saw a freshman that played hard.. could shoot... and had decent handles for a freshman his size. He has good bball IQ, but is not as athletic as RJ. I think both he and RJ will have big step forward next year.I certainly hope he can do much more than that over the remainder of his time here. One reason I am excited about Skyy and Epps is they are known shooters. We need more guys that can shoot it consistently on the floor next season.

Maybe slightly, but it wasn't like we ran a lot of iso with Plummer, and I don't seem to remember him creating a lot of good looks on his own. Plummer's best get open skill was that he could put up a shot with someone right in his face.Goode and Plummer are completely different players. Plummer can actually get himself open. Not that Goode wont be an important player down the line but the Plummer comparison isn't a good one
Nah, he actually proved really effective beating dudes off the dribble and finishing at the hoop.Maybe slightly, but it wasn't like we ran a lot of iso with Plummer, and I don't seem to remember him creating a lot of good looks on his own. I had to look it up myself. Looks like a whopping 1 minute. (blocks-I would not have guessed that either)Am I remembering correctly that Nick Smith never saw the floor in the championship game, even with all the fouls on Augie ? It was strange to me how he would finish a couple times at the rim early on with great confidence in some games then not score the entirety of the second halfNah, he actually proved really effective beating dudes off the dribble and finishing at the hoop.
