We will get some defensive guys to commit eventually, right?! I feel decent about our inside LBs, but need some more edge athletes and all of the DBs.
I don't think we care about defense. At least that is how it seems.

Jared Badie and Eian Pugh are the other two of the three amigos. Hope they both decide to join Anderson and become Ilini.

I know the rankings and offers aren’t great or anything but I really like Anderson. He isn’t the fastest guy but he does everything well. I know I wouldn’t enjoy trying to tackle him.
From his film it looks like he has great instincts and awareness to pick a lane and get through openings quickly. And a bruiser.

I really like how quickly we are picking up commits. Identify your targets and focus on getting them onboard. The drawn out Lovie process is much more precarious. Build momentum and keep it rolling. The hotter we become, the more likely a higher end recruit gets onboard.

One can reverse the logic of a phrase used a year or two ago whilst this board was lamenting during the previous administration, by saying "BB is controlling his own narrative."

Pure speed has nothing to do with anything in football, IMO. Payton: strength, quick; Sayers : track star at at Kansas, ran like a deer. No straight-line speed records. Leave that to another of my favorite Bears: Willie Gault . I think it's all about if you have the ability to elude tacklers with moves and smarts and determination.
