Good win after a pretty rough first defensive series. D really turned it around with the TOs and the offense looked great. Did what they had to do and dominated on both sides, now the real games start. Let's keep it rolling!

Only bad thing tonight was Luke Altmyer’s haircut. 
We looked mighty good out there. Some really great energy on both sides of the ball and I loved what I saw. Defensively we looked much improved. Miles Scott, Rosiak, and Jacas all had tremendous games. And on offense our WRs put on a show, Luke was great, and Priestley was a wreaking ball for our RBs. Plus we got out of this healthy for Kansas. We play with this energy, this intensity and effort, and we'll have as good a chance as any to start off the season 2-0. Great game, and let's keep this rolling.

Elzy turned on the speed for an end zone TD.............
The defense played a complete game and got 4 TO's.............
Good to get almost everyone in the game for valuable experience down the road............
Cary Davis was awesome as the new color analyst for the Illini radio crew............
Next week will be a definite step up in competition level but I think the Illini will be ready and able to compete.........I really really do.....................
