I suspect Tyler's growing influence had something to do with it.

I don't know but tempted to hit the Pacific northwest for the games vs Oregon and Washington. What's winter like at the time and any nearby skiing worth visiting.
Near Seattle, Stevens (1.6 hrs) is good and takes EPIC pass but weekend parking is awful, lines never too bad. Closer is Snoqualmie/Alpental (1 hr) which can be crowded and wetter but beautiful peaks, and then Crystal is S 1.6 hrs near Rainier, very large terrain, newer gondola, lines can be long, best snow in the area. If you wanna be a baller, then keep heading north to Whistler, BC (4ish hrs from Seattle) which is also EPIC pass covered, 4 gondolas, and fancy international village--you need a passport for the border.

No idea when these will go on sale, but here is a link to sign up for a notification. I'm sure someone on here has attended a BBall game at MSG, what price range are we looking at for okay seats? Will $80-$100/seat get me between the baselines midway up, or is that wishful thinking?

All I can say is Chet and TA came in after we lost OA and absolutely crushed it in keeping this program moving forward. I really hope bringimg OA back was worth the turmoil of losing both of those guys.
I suspect Tyler's growing influence had something to do with it.
They both looked dissatisfied sitting halfway down the bench last season.
These takes 🤣🤣

Yea I’d say losing your top two assistant coaches after an elite 8 run would count as some level of turmoil. Not to mention all the players we had transfer out and only two returnees.

It can definitely work out, but it’s a lot of change.
Not turmoil

"And Brad gave Chester the chance to leave his alma mater gracefully when he really didn’t have too. "

Well, I/we may never know the full truth, and that's okay. But if Underwood, as HC, refused to allow CF to leave on a bad note and burn any bridges in doing so, then my BU Man-Crush is only strengthened by this. Underwood has been in the ranks for a very long while, paid his dues, done well, so it only makes sense to me that he'd be looking out for his guys. I-L-L

I've been off the boards awhile....what is the backstory of Chester departure and what was "ungraceful" about it?
Not an insider but apparently from what I have read and heard. CF and BU did not see eye to eye on over recruiting CF players and how we were using the portal and NIL to build the roster. got heated and CF was shown the door and told exit. Only need to look at the transfers out with CF. He could have been released or fired but Brad let him find a new job and leave on his own messaging.

Chester recruited players similar to himself....and lets face it Chester wouldn't have gotten a lot of tick on BUs teams these past 5 years....also don't go bad mouthing your boss to people and subtweeting about him as well.

And Brad gave Chester the chance to leave his alma mater gracefully when he really didn’t have too.
In my experience, it is almost always better to allow for a graceful exit. It is wise to do so whenever possible, even when every facet of your being wants to air the grievances that caused the split. There is rarely much to gain causing harm to someone's reputation, even when you are completely justified in doing so. Those in the know, know the details. All the rest don't really matter. Kudos to Brad for doing what is best practice, and allowing Chester to remain in a good place in the hearts and minds of fans.

It'll work out.

Mt Hood outside of Portland also is worth a visit, but Whistler BC is far and away the king of the Pacific NW ski resorts. Worth a couple days’ visit if you have the time to spare.
