For the second year in a row in the second round, the opposing coaching staff smoked our coaching staff like it was April 20th.
the fatal flaw of this team is we had good shooters and good defenders. But we didn't have players that could do both besides Trent
Keep recruiting shooters. We need them.

This hurts. A lot. Two years in a row losing in the round of 32 is just tough. Heck of a season, but it's gonna take a long time to get over this.

I am frustrated at Underwood's lack of adjustments. He said in a press conference that he is a creature of habit and likes to keep things the same. By contrary Eric Musselman from Arkansas says he changes defense every TV timeout to keep opponents guessing. You can give me all the stats you want, but to see no adjustment to stop the mid-range jumpers, only adding a soft press towards the end of the season, not playing Curbelo, Jake, etc. the whole second half, delayed shaking it up in the first half, bringing the same starting five out in the second half. His pride just gets in the way sometimes.

Outplayed and outcoached today. We have no choice but to trust the freshmen next year. Thank you Trent, Damonte, and probably Kofi for the great moments last 3-5 years, a BIG tournament, and a BIG regular season champion. Hopefully we can make it to the NCAA tournament again next year.
Well after today's game, I've decided I'm not going to watch another Illinois game the rest of the season.
