Game Thread: Illinois at Michigan State

I kinda figured we would get 5 losses this season and maybe JUST fall short (or tie?) for big ten Champion. This could very well be the last loss.

However if we win today, which I really think we can, I think our last loss will come @ Michigan.

At this point I’m not entirely worried about the Big ten title. It seems a bit out of our control now that we have fallen a bit behind. But I do want to savor every moment with Kofi, Trent, DMW, Grandison and Plummer before we get a whole new look next year. These guys are so special and so good. Love this team!

Respectfully disagree, it’s most certainly in our control. When you look at the schedule of the top 4 teams they will all almost certainly pick up another loss or two. A win today at MSU puts us right back on track.

Let’s do this! Winning this one gets us another Quad 1 win and could have us back in first if RU keeps up the magic tomorrow. Either way, it’d be the perfect catalyst for a winning streak that gives us momentum as we approach March!

Going into the season, I thought after today we'd be sitting at 4 losses with a B1G title hinging on whether or not we steal one at Michigan.

Win today (and there's no reason to think we can't) and we're still on that pace.

Let's go.
