It's really sad. Deion Sanders spoke about honesty and respect and doing the right thing to his players.

But the locker room is the wild west and he either can't or doesn't want to control it. He'll be back on TV within five years.

I suspect part of the problem is the reality tv show he brought with him. TV people love drama, and kids love attention, so if behaving badly is what gets them on Reality TV, that's their incentive. About a third of the country cannot tell the difference between Reality TV and reality. This is just another example of feeding their bottomless desire for manufactured conflict. It comes with more dopamine than reality, and they are junkies.

Does Rick George get thrown out with him?
Here I am when I remember that I was pushing for Rick George before Whitman was hired.

Deon went to Colorado for national attention for his sons. When they are gone , he is not far behind.

6-6? Generous. Could be 0-12 honestly, but probably 3-9 or 4-8

That’s a sneaky tough schedule. Week 1 vs nd state I don’t even think is a guarantee. Plus it’ll be interesting to see the re-kindling of their rivalry with Nebraska.

I have them at 6-6 if everything goes their way. Deon talks like he is coaching Alabama or Georgia. Most over-rated coach in NCAA.

I agree with the overrated comment. In my opinion, there is no way that Colorado starts off 4-0.

I think Colorado has a ceiling of about 5 wins, with a real possibility of 1-4 record at the end of September. If North Dakota State pulls off the upset in week 1 (and is possible), then this team is likely a 1 or 2 win team.

I see no way that Nebraska loses this home rematch, and the game at Fort Collins is always a tossup. Most books have the over/under pegged at 5.5 wins. I think under on wins is one of the best values on the market right now.

Florida State is a great proving ground for men of character

Bowden had his players under control, going to school, doing community service and becoming men. Sanders was definitely the most arrogant of the players he had but, Bobby didn't put up with that BS. He had a lot of upstanding young men play for him that went on to do great things.

Jimbo Fisher is another story. No control at all. Jimbo left Willie Taggert with below average players and a cumulative team GPA to match.
