BB the coach has lot of experience but also got to take over a good program and Wisconsin much tougher challenge to build it at Illinois

Well... I don’t love the hire but it was probably the best Illinois was going to do. Hopefully he does really well for 3-4 years here, gets hired by Michigan, then completely sucks there.

This guy had as many Rose Bowls at Wisconsin as we've had in 60 years! No candidate was perfect.

I can live with this too. Especially if he brings in top notch OC and DC. Good position coaches and recruiters would be nice as well.

Apparently it's a $4.2 million a year deal. How much was he making with the Giants? Seems like a lot unless we're prying him away from a high paying gig, or there's a big market for him as far as P5 vacancies (which I don't think is the case).
