Yea, I don't think they'll cut him much slack even with OG out. Remember, Blackmon Jr. was injured throughout the 2nd half of last year and they still found a way to win without him. But, they don't have Yogi this year. I'd take Crean in a heartbeat.

I started this whole thing, I wasn't saying we should go after Crean. I was just wondering if we'll have to compete against Indiana for a new coach.

Too old and he has no recruiting ties in the Midwest or Chicago. Who is the last Texas player to come from Illinois? I don't remember any of his high level recruits coming from Chicago. Solid coach but it would be like hiring a re-tread.
