NCAA gives Illinois shot at redemption

Illinois is seeking its first NCAA win since 2006, and the Illini will attempt to bounce back from a horrible loss to Michigan in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten tournament, when they blew a 12-point lead in a little more than 8 minutes.

Confidence is a question, and not just from the fan base. The Illini coaches felt getting an NCAA berth has covered up any concern of a hangover, but it's apparent UNLV will smell blood in the water.
