Eric Gordon Jilts Illini for Hoosiers

Illinois basketball kicked off the 2006 - 2007 season Friday night at Illini Madness in front of 12,000 at Assembly Hall. Dampening the mood was the aftertaste of Eric Gordon's decision earlier in the day to finally make known his intention to break his verbal commitment to Illinois and join Indiana.
