Jack Ingram

The most treasured gifts are often of the unexpected variety. The Illinois basketball juggernaut received such a present from Jack Ingram last night at the pulsating Kohl Center, on their way to eradicating the Badger's 38-game home winning streak.
The Illini displayed a tremendous team effort to fight their way back from a scary 8-point deficit deep into the 2nd half. The unlikely Mr. Ingram ("Big Time Jack" as they call him now) put the Illini back into control with a 36-second burst of red-throng morale-deflation: nailing a 3 from just right of the top of the key to tie, then grabbing a rebound at the other end, and finally drilling another 3 from the same spot for a 3-point lead. Minutes later Jack swished two free-throws to put the orange ahead for good on the night of their biggest win of the year.
