Thread is falling off, so I'll try to revive

I went to a couple good breweries in Bloomington, IL this past week while I was back. Lil Beaver is pretty solid, and Destil's brewpub was great.

Also, Triptych in Savoy is putting out some good stuff. Central Illinois is looking good!!

What is everyone's thoughts on the "new" styles of IPA: NE (not that new), brut and zero IBU IPA? As for the NE, I'm not a fan (due to the cloudiness of the beer, not necessarily the bitterness). I haven't had a brut or 0 IBU IPA but I'd give both a whirl.
