It took a while (midway thru the 2nd half), but Illinois finally pulled away from Florida A&M to post a 84-63 win Sunday afternoon. 4 Illini starters were in double figures, including Trent Meacham who tied a school record with 8 made three-pointers. Recap. Thread.

Illinois guard Trent Meacham connects on his record-tying 8th three pointer for the game. Meacham's 8 three pointers tied the Illinois single game record held by Dee Brown (vs Purdue 3/3/05) and Kevin Turner (vs UCLA 12/30/97).
Calvin Brock just missed a triple double. Brock had 18 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
Chester Frazier scored 13 points, had 10 assists and grabbed 7 rebounds against Florida A&M.
