With our luck we’d have drawn NC State in the second round and we’d all be talking about how bad Brad sucks in the tourney right now…If TSJ had those six games back, do you think the Illini would still have ended up playing UConn when they did?

I think regardless of our tournament seed the NCAA would have pitted us against UConn. They didn't want to have us with TSJ getting the spotlight in the Final Four.If TSJ had those six games back, do you think the Illini would still have ended up playing UConn when they did?

“Where we go one we go all.” 🫤I think regardless of our tournament seed the NCAA would have pitted us against UConn. They didn't want to have us with TSJ getting the spotlight in the Final Four.
At this point in time the court's online system does not indicate any change in date.Is there still a court date in May?
We had the most favorable draw we could have possibly had prior to the sweet 16. If this conspiracy theory were true, there are many more ways the NCAA could have given us unfavorable matchups from the very first NCAA Tournament game we played.I think regardless of our tournament seed the NCAA would have pitted us against UConn. Oh yes...our own failed Edey experiment. He was pretty decent, but I don't remember him playing more than 10-15 minutes a game. We nicknamed him slender manSorry I can't give up nicksmith4three. Surely someone else would grab it immediately and i can't let it go.
I mean, it didn't work out badly for us, but BYU was supposed to be a 5-seed that got dropped to a 6-seed, so going into the tournament it looked like we had gotten screwed again. We had the most favorable draw we could have possibly had prior to the sweet 16. BYU was a paper tiger who fed off their altitude-juiced home court advantage in Provo to get their seed. They were a tailor-made matchup for us. We would have eaten them alive had they managed to survive their first round matchup.I mean, it didn't work out badly for us, but BYU was supposed to be a 5-seed that got dropped to a 6-seed, so going into the tournament it looked like we had gotten screwed again.
Doesn't sound like this case is going to go quietly away like was hoped. There is updated information in the Shannon case. The prosecution wants a hearing to evaluate the defense's DNA expert's testimony.
Also, the typo of Shannon's middle name in the complaint has been corrected and the alleged victim's friend's name is listed. The complaint's alternative charge has now been upgraded from misdemeanor to felony. It is no longer sexual battery, it is now aggravated sexual battery.
Also the deputy DA has now taken over the case it seems.
Yes, but also feels expected. The defense wasn't going to let the DNA evidence go unchallenged. The prosecution isn't going to give their expert a flyer on debunking a large part of their caseDoesn't sound like this case is going to go quietly away like was hoped.
