St Louis Cardinals 2024

Baltimore needs a closer. i saw a heading saying we could clean up with two top minor leaguers from their loaded system
for Helsley. Their #6 and #7 top minor leaguers would start us on our rebuild.

please don't let this little win streak keep the ownership from doing the right thing.
and as long as i'm wishing, don't let Dewitt III make any decisions Dewitt II(unless its
to sell the team)
I have no problem if things continue and they tear it down......they won't do it yet

I hope the rebuild starts with replacing Mozeliak.

With the win against the Red Sox the Cardinals escape the cellar passing the Cincinnati Reds and climb into 4th place in the division, only 7 games out....

Contreras has become one of my favorite Cardinals players.......tough dude...........

I am very encouraged by the performance of Mr. Burleson this season........I called earlier in the season for him to get more playing time as I think he is a player who can sustain a better than average performance if he got regular AB's and he is showing he can be an offensive force.......

I fully expect he will be the starting 1st baseman next season for the Cardinals........I really really do.......JMHO.................

Watching the Pirates - cubbies game and I sure wish we could have signed he lefty Imanaga.........he has a devastating split finger fastball......................

Watched the same 2 teams yesterday and Skenes for the Pirates is the real deal........Lots of movement on his fastball and he has a funky screwball type pitch that bores in on right handed batters........great off speed and slider type pitches also...........
great velo too , over 100 MPH on a lot , I mean a lot of pitches ..........he will be a thorn in the sides of all the central Division foes for years to come , barring an injury..........Young , big and very talented .............must be nice...........

Is it just me or does Burleson have a little Lance Berkman in him. A long way to get to Lance, but he has the hair and body shape.

THATS A WINNER !!!

Cardinals win 7-2 over the Red Sox......I can get used to this run scoring offensive outburst...18 runs in 2 games against the team with the best ERA in MLB....
Color me impressed with the turn around and scoring runs with singles and doubles.....

Is it too early to say the worm has turned ???

JMHO......
