Everyone cries about Iowa coming in and taking a bunch of Illinois kids. A lot of their commits we never offered. Iowa does a great job identifying defensive talent. Any recruit they are offering I would offer. Just stay away from their quarterbacks.
We need tackles bad. Recruit nothing but tackles if they don’t work out there you move them inside. I also like converting tight ends to ol. I remember when a lot of people thought Boyer would be a linemen.
Maybe he doesn’t fit their schemes or they are full at those positions. Their are several in state kids who haven’t offered that have multiple power 4 offers from better football programs.

Franklin would be a difference maker at wr. At dt they would be looking to adding a rotational player or someone we can develop. It would be nice to add to add impact players at those positions but we don’t have the money for that. I don’t think Francis is ready to play this year but I like his...
If that’s the case I would add Franklin. Lunney would be able to greet creative with the different pieces we have. I’m sure there will be some move attrition and a scholarship will open up.
I like adding Goda but it would be a bad decision if we don’t add at DT. This wave of the transfer portal has been successful. It would be even better if we can Franklin and a DT.
